On December 11, Rissho Kosei-kai Los Angeles held a farewell ceremony for Rev. Shoko Mizutani who is going back to RK Tokyo Headquarters after more than ten years of service spreading the dharma in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Rev. Mizutani served seven years at the RK Los Angeles Sangha. Many of the LA sangha members gathered to wish him farewell, congratulate him on his promotion to lead Rissho Kosei-kai International, and wish him good luck in his new role.
Rev. Mizutani will be missed.
