Maui Dharma Center participates in the Hiroshima Rememberance Peace Event

The Rissho Kosei-kai Maui Sangha participated in the Hiroshima Remembrance Peace Event held on August 6, 2010 at the Maui College. Reverend Kiyohiko Yoshizawa of RKINA was among the speakers who delivered a message for peace and promoted the Arms Down! Campaign to over 100 attendees.

Origami crane folding, Japanese classical dance, and peace songs, were other highlights of the evening which brought people of different backgrounds and faiths together to remember the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
