Rev. Masamichi Kamiya, of Rissho Kosei-kai of New York, was among the panel of speakers at the Buddhist/Christian Dialogue held May 13-15, 2011 at the Graymoor Center in Garrison, New York. Rev. Kamiya was joined by Rev. Diane Kessler (Protestant Christian), Ven. Abbot Dharmadipa (Theravada Buddhist), and Rev. Robert E. Kennedy, SJ (Roman Catholic Christian).
During the Dialogue, Rev. Kamiya and others candidly shared their views on "Our Common Search for Peace." Their collective message encouraged all faith communities to contribute cooperatively to world peace. You can read Rev. Kamiya's paper presented to the Dialogue. The event was organized by the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.
