PURPOSE

A two-year program meeting twice a year to study the Lotus Sutra in depth.

To deepen understanding of and faith in the Lotus Sutra as a central Buddhist scripture.

To foster spiritual growth and strengthen Bodhisattva practice.
-
To develop as a core Sangha leader who can guide members and friends in their understanding and practice.

To enhance understanding and practice of Rissho Kosei-kai ritual.

GOALS

To become capable of presenting chapters of the Threefold Lotus Sutra.

To become a Rissho Kosei-kai Dharma Teacher who supports the growth of a healthy Sangha.

To deepen bonds with other Dharma Center leaders.
QUALIFICATION
1. Completion of the following courses: Basic Buddhism, Kyoten Study, Introduction to the Threefold Lotus Sutra, and the Threefold Lotus Sutra Course at your local Dharma Center or online RKINA courses.
2. A home altar (Gohonzon recommended)
3. Commitment to attend all four sessions.
4. Recommendation from your local minister.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
At the end of the two-year program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. This marks an important step toward further opportunities within Rissho Kosei-kai.
