This is an introductory online course on the core concepts found in the Threefold Lotus Sutra, as interpreted by the writing of Nikkyo Niwano, Founder of Rissho Kosei-kai. Did you know that the Lotus Sutra is an epic story of spiritual growth and understanding? RKINA 103 will introduce you to the sublime world of the Lotus Sutra. In 16 weeks, we will study the story and core concepts found in each chapter of the three sutras that make up the Threefold Lotus Sutra. After this course, you will have been abled to grasp the spirit of the Lotus Sutra and will have gotten a glimpse into the possibility of a more positive and peaceful world. Objectives: 1. Develop an understanding of the basic elements of the Lotus Sutra. 2. Learn to apply the teachings to your everyday life. 3.
